💡 From Childhood Curiosity to a Lifelong Mission
While I was born in Queens, NY, my story truly begins in Barrio Guayabal, Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, where I grew up with my grandmother. My technological awakening came from two powerful sources. The first was the hum of my uncle's computer—a Windows 2.0 system with a green monochrome monitor. To most, it was a box; to me, it was a window into the future. The second was the dazzling spectacle of Disney World. On family trips, I was mesmerized by the lights, the animatronics, and the engineering behind the magic. It wasn't just a vacation; it was the realization that I wanted to be the architect behind that kind of technology.
One Saturday, I declared to my late grandfather, Lcdo. Ramón Luis Ríos Rodríguez, that I wanted to work with computers. His face lit up, and his enthusiastic response—"Rios Computer!"—was more than just encouragement; it was the birth of a brand I would spend the next decade building.
Later, as I was heading into high school, my grandmother, Delia Torres (a retired 4th-grade science teacher), saw my unwavering focus. She found the pioneering vocational tech program at Escuela Superior Luis Llorens Torres that became my foundation. Her support—providing me with a car, finances, and loving food—was the bedrock I built my career upon.
While my grandmother provided the educational foundation, my mother Wanda Burgos was the emotional architect of my career. At every crossroads—from those first 'Rios Computer' days to the high-stakes migrations of my 40s—she has been the voice on the other end of the phone, teaching me that 'engineering' a life is just as important as engineering a system. Whether she was teaching me to cook traditional recipes over the phone to cure my loneliness or pulling me back from the brink of burnout, she is the silent partner in every solution I build.

A Different Path to Mastery
My drive to learn always moved a little faster than the standard curriculum. After skipping kindergarten and accelerating through the school system, I graduated from my vocational program in Computer Repair and Electronics at just 16 years old in 2003. I didn't wait for permission or a college degree to start executing; I launched Rios Computers that exact same year.
While I subsequently pursued a college degree, my hunger for cutting-edge knowledge often outpaced the classroom. This is where my uncle, Ricardo Rios, became a pivotal mentor. He recognized my drive and provided me with real-world enterprise gigs at his own company, Glenn International. His strategic guidance pushed me to specialize in Networks—a decision that profoundly shaped my architecture career.
This environment cultivated a profound ability to hyper-focus. I constantly sought knowledge beyond the classroom—breaking, building, and understanding systems every single day. This relentless pursuit extended to visual arts and UX, mastering tools that developed the keen eye for design I use today. From banks to hospitals, I've accumulated numerous certifications and forged an intuitive grasp of technology, fueled by a lifelong capacity for intense, sustained execution.
